  6. Tinyview is a small IFF picture viewer capable of displaying IFF ILBM
  7. pictures in all of the standard screen modes and resoloutions.
  8. Tinyview has two modes of viewing pictures, either through a file selector
  9. or as a default tool.
  10. It was written in about ten minutes this morning when I was bored!  So don't
  11. expect it to be earth shattering!

  15. System Requirements

  17. Tinyview should work on ALL Amigas no matter what the specification, if it
  18. doesn't work on yours then I'll be VERY surprised!

  22. Using Tinyview with a file selector
  23. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  24. To use Tinyview  with a file selector either click on the Tinyview icon or
  25. execute Tinyview from a script (or startup-sequence).
  26. Tinyview will try to use the ASL file requester, so ensure that you have the
  27. ASL Library in your Libs directory, however if the ASL library is not
  28. present then Tinyview will automatically use a standard Amiga requester.

  32. Using Tinyview as the default tool
  33. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  34. To use Tinyview as a pictures default tool (to automatically display the
  35. picture when the pictures icon is clicked) simply click once on the pictures
  36. icon and select 'Information' from the Workbench Icon menu (Right Amiga I),
  37. select the 'Default tool' box and enter 'Tinyview', press return and save
  38. the information.
  39. Tinyview will then load and display the image automatically.
  40. Please note that when you enter the 'default tool' then the full pathname
  41. must be specified if Tinyview is not present in the root directory.

  46. Why Tinyview?
  47. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  48. Tinyview has been written as a simple, easy to use IFF viewer, either by
  49. using a file requester or specifying it as the default tool, more
  50. importantly it has been written to be as small as possible, Tinyview is only
  51. 7,664 bytes long (7K), in order to squeeze onto a disk.
