- TINYVIEW DOCUMENTATION
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
-
- Tinyview is a small IFF picture viewer capable of displaying IFF ILBM
- pictures in all of the standard screen modes and resoloutions.
- Tinyview has two modes of viewing pictures, either through a file selector
- or as a default tool.
- It was written in about ten minutes this morning when I was bored! So don't
- expect it to be earth shattering!
-
-
-
- System Requirements
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Tinyview should work on ALL Amigas no matter what the specification, if it
- doesn't work on yours then I'll be VERY surprised!
-
-
-
- Using Tinyview with a file selector
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- To use Tinyview with a file selector either click on the Tinyview icon or
- execute Tinyview from a script (or startup-sequence).
- Tinyview will try to use the ASL file requester, so ensure that you have the
- ASL Library in your Libs directory, however if the ASL library is not
- present then Tinyview will automatically use a standard Amiga requester.
-
-
-
- Using Tinyview as the default tool
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- To use Tinyview as a pictures default tool (to automatically display the
- picture when the pictures icon is clicked) simply click once on the pictures
- icon and select 'Information' from the Workbench Icon menu (Right Amiga I),
- select the 'Default tool' box and enter 'Tinyview', press return and save
- the information.
- Tinyview will then load and display the image automatically.
- Please note that when you enter the 'default tool' then the full pathname
- must be specified if Tinyview is not present in the root directory.
- i.e - Workbench:Graphics_utilities/Tinyview
-
-
-
- Why Tinyview?
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Tinyview has been written as a simple, easy to use IFF viewer, either by
- using a file requester or specifying it as the default tool, more
- importantly it has been written to be as small as possible, Tinyview is only
- 7,664 bytes long (7K), in order to squeeze onto a disk.
-
-
-
- DISCLAIMER
- ~~~~~~~~~~
- Tinyview is supplied 'as is', I accept no responsibility for the performance
- of Tinyview or and problems arising from it's use.
- (However I can not envisage any circumstances where the use of Tinyview will
- cause any problems).
